So I figured you can't just talk book stuff all of the time. Maybe it's time to open the blargh up to other topics.
I've made a big mistake. I purchased Divinity: Original Sin 2. I've played most of Larian's games, and I've enjoyed each of them (although I never got into the RTS game much). Original Sin 1 was pretty much the epitome of a great RPG. You are set loose in a massive, sprawling world, and just about anything can happen. You never know where a quest or storyline will lead. Being unpredictable is a great asset to any media. I have yet to start the game, although I bought it yesterday. I'm usually a cheapskate when it comes to games, waiting for at least a 50% off sale for most of them, but I have no problem paying full price and supporting Larian. They are a great studio, and really care about their fans and the games they make. I'm hesitant to start, because I know I'll get sucked in again and let everything else languish for weeks or months. On a side note, I've also been getting into the Netflix Voltron series (usually watching an episode in the morning before I go to work). So far it is very gripping, and the animation is great. I was a bit disappointed with Castlevania, because it was so short. Oh, and the Amazon take on The Tick was great as well. Not quite as cartoonish or lampooning as the other TV series, but it was different in a good way. The story takes place on a more personal level. Slow to start, but I think it will pick up.
