It's a comin' along

So I'm pretty much done with my Urban Fantasy novel. 100K+ words (whew, I didn't expect it to be so long). I've got a few beta readers and friends going over it to pick it apart, then I'm going to send it to be edited. I've got a fantastic artist working on the cover. I'm hoping to release in about 5-6 weeks if it all comes together on time. Although I released "Cave of Souls" previously, I'm still a super noob when it comes to self publishing. Cave of Souls was more of a test to see how all of these systems like KDP, Smashwords, Goodreads, etc. work (although I still think it's a decent little story!). I took it down from Smashwords and I'm going to release it on Amazon KDP again. I've been hanging around the Kindle Writer's Cafe trying to pick up tips on the best ways to go about releasing a book. Most people have thousands of people on mailing lists, friends that will cross promote on each other's lists, etc. Maybe eventually I'll have those resources too, but not at this time!

I've started working on a sequel and a short character prequel. I've got a lot of ideas brewing.
