"Beneath the Dungeon", book four of the Dead Dungeon series is now out! I won't post a synopsis or blurb, but let's just say there are new threats around every corner and the dungeon and its minions are going to face a foe unlike any they could imagine.
The next book of the Warrior of Souls series is coming along as well. I hope to release at the end of May or possibly June. So look for more news on that one in the future. Right now, I'm having a sale on "Survive the Dungeon" for .99. Just in case you were curious what the series is about and wanted to give it a shot.

I really haven't updated my blog since October? How lame and lazy. Anyhow, some updates. First, the important things - book four for the Dead Dungeon series will be released next month, followed by the next Warrior of Souls book (hopefully May). Sorry to anyone who has been waiting patiently to see what happened to Sverre, Izzy and Jessica (yes, I'm aware everyone hates Jessica), but I'm not going to go out like a sucka!
Now for the unimportant things. I've just learned The Aquabats are on Youtube. You might say, "You-you mean that children's show about gaudy superheroes who play music? Aren't you an old man?" First off, no, I'm not that old, I just feel and look old. Secondly, I believe this show is pure genius, and I am entertained immensely every time I watch it. ALSO - they did a Kickstarter to make new episodes, and those episodes are also on Youtube! Some other Youtube channels I enjoy (in no particular order): Black Nerd Comedy Beyond the Press Frog Leap Studios Laura Legends Minty Comedic Arts Ozzy Man Reviews Society of Virtue SteveTerreberry Davie504 ComicTropes ERB (Epic Rap Battles) Jared Dines The Key of Awesome (no longer producing new content, but still one of the best music parody channels of all time) Toy Galaxy Just to name a few. If you're bored one night, give 'em a whirl. Yes, my tastes seem to waver between children's shows, cartoons and toys and violent superheroes, werewolves, and heavy metal. Sue me! Just made a new video for the Dead Dungeon series which I think is pretty cool. The series has been well-received so far, and the only real complaint seems to be the readers want longer books. I decided to do something different with this series, which is write shorter books and price them cheaper, but release them faster. I had book one written and sat on it while I wrote book two, then sat on both of them while starting work on book three, because I wanted to release a complete story arc all at once. Shorter books are simply easier, faster, and less expensive to produce. For future books in the series, I won't sit on them, but I'll release them as they are written. I also need to finish up the next book in the Warrior of Souls series, but my day job is sucking up a lot of my writing time. It's rather difficult to work twelve hours straight then sit down to write, but hopefully the workload lightens up soon. Book three of the Dead Dungeon series, "Unleash the Dungeon" is now out on Amazon. If you enjoy dungeon crawling or dungeon management (core) books, or just dark fantasy in general, you may enjoy this series! As always, it's free if you are a member of Kindle Unlimited. Amazon is currently running a special where you can get several months for .99 if you aren't a member.
Just as the title says right above - book two of the Dead Dungeon series is now out. "But you just released book one two weeks ago! What sorcery is this?" you shout. Yes, I wrote book one and sat on it while I wrote books two and three so that I could release them all within two months. That way you don't have to wait long to finish the story! If you are a fan of the Warrior of Souls series, don't worry, I'm working on the next book in that series. I expect I'll have a release in that one at the end of this year or beginning of the next. For now, if you enjoy fantasy, dungeon crawling/core, role playing games, you'll probably like the Dead Dungeon series, so give it a try!
So I've been very busy the past few months finishing up a new series. If you enjoy dungeon crawling, dungeon core, RPG, sword and sorcery, dark fantasy, gamelit (although this is a book based on reality, not a game world), you'll probably like the new Dead Dungeon series.
"Series??" you scream to the heavens. Yes, a whole series! Book One, Survive the Dungeon, is going to be released 9/3/2019. Book Two, Rebuild the Dungeon, will be released 9/17/2019, and Book Three, Unleash the Dungeon, will be released a few weeks later on 10/22/19. THREE books! The first book is about a nameless man who can't remember his past. He finds himself trapped in a deadly dungeon with no way out...except down. He's going to have to delve deeper into the dungeon, conquering each level as he goes, in order to discover why he was captured. No easy task for a hearty group of adventures, so how can one man survive? I won't talk about books two and three until close to their release dates, as I always worry the blurbs might spoil the previous book in some way. But here's the cover and the link to Survive the Dungeon. If you like action, creepy dungeons, magic, and monsters, then it'll be right up your alley. Oh, and I'm back to working on Warrior of Souls Book Four. I'm looking for to release it at the end of this year or January/February of next year. Thank you to the fans who have patiently waited! |
